| The DTA has been designed to allow a television. equipped only with a Digital tuner to display an Analogue channel via the input SCART connection. The analogue signal is routed through to the DTA via the RF input socket before being converted to a composite signal and fed to the Television via the TV's SCART/video input socket. The unit is capable of operating in both PAL I and PAL G standards. A typical application would be to allow a satellite set top box analogue output to be viewed on a 'Digital Only' TV. Mono Audio only and mediocre "bedroom TV" picture quality (because that's what comes out of the Digibox RF outlet). The DTA kit comprises: - Main DTA Converter module
- tvLlNK "magic eye"
- DTA to SCART Cable (AV Out to TV)
- AC PSU Adapter
- Coaxial cable lead
The DTA works with any receiver that has an RF modulator. The "magic eye" works with Sky Digiboxes and with other Digiboxes (with additional parts). The AV Out lead connects to any TV with a Scart input socket. It carries composite video and mono audio from the Sky Digibox RF output. |
