This is a headphone amplifier designed to allow headphones to be used with almost any Hi-FI or TV. As it is connected to the TV via phono connectors (RCA), the TV will not be muted when the amplifier is in use. This feature makes it ideal for the hard of hearing, who can listen at their preferred volume without disturbing others.

It has sockets for both standard and miniature headphones. If required both sockets can be used simultaneously so two people can listen. The "in" and "out" phono sockets enable it to be daisy chained anywhere in the input circuit.
