Top example: Global 5x6RX (receiver-powered multiswitch with 4 LNB inputs and a UHF input. Six receiver outputs).

Bottom example: Global 5x8M (mains-powered multiswitch with 4 LNB inputs and a UHF input. Eight receiver outputs).

A multiswitch must be fed by 4 coloured cables from a QUATTRO LNB.

(Quad version is no longer manufactured.)

Sadoun S-SM21V 0-12 volt L.N.B. switch

(Replaces CS012).

This switch has two LNB inputs and one receiver output. Lets you choose between two LNBs by using a switch or 12 volt feed.

Minimum loss 4dB. Not suitable for fringe area reception.

The switch has losses (minimum 4dB or 60%) so if you can't stand losing that much, don't use it. A larger dish may compensate. LNB switches should be considered only when there is no possibility of installing additional cables.

Jaeger Smart Priority LNB Switch

Allows you to use either one of two satellite TV receivers with only on LNB (dish) connection. Example: Connect a Freesat box as master and a Sky Digibox as slave. (The Sky box leaves the LNB powered all the time, so can't be connected as master.) When the Freesat box is in standby, the Sky box takes over. Can also be used with an analogue or Digital FTA satellite TV receiver.

Minimum loss 4dB. Not suitable for fringe area reception.

The switch has losses (minimum 4dB or 60%) so if you can't stand losing that much, don't use it. A larger dish may compensate. LNB switches should be considered only when there is no possibility of installing additional cables.

SPS1 Smart Priority LNB Switch

Switch one LNB between two receivers automatically.

This switch looks for the LNB voltage to decide which receiver is active. It can only be used if one of your receivers turns its LNB voltage off in standby. That receiver must be connected as "master" and the other as "slave". No Sky Digibox can be used as "master" because they keep their LNB voltage on all the time. You can, however, use the Digibox TV scart socket to tell the SPS1 which receiver is "active", if that socket is not being used. For this application, Scart control must be "on".

Suitable for LNBs, Receivers and RF switching

Use it for 2 into 1 or 1 into 2 switching (bidirectional).

This power-toggled satellite LNB switch has 2 LNB inputs and one receiver output. It is designed to be used with a satellite receiver to switch between two LNB feeds when the LNB power is removed then re-applied, usually to select between two different satellites. Frequency response 40-2300MHz.

A satellite only line amplifier ideal to compensate for the loss on long LNB cable runs. Powered by the LNB supply from the receiver. Gain is 22dB, Maximum output is 104dBµV. Fixed slope of 5dB. Frequency bandwidth is 950-2400MHz.
