| | Multiswitches Top example: Global 5x6RX (receiver-powered multiswitch with 4 LNB inputs and a UHF input. Six receiver outputs). Bottom example: Global 5x8M (mains-powered multiswitch with 4 LNB inputs and a UHF input. Eight receiver outputs). A multiswitch must be fed by 4 coloured cables from a QUATTRO LNB. (Quad version is no longer manufactured.) Optional input for UHF aerial. Select multiswitch from the list, below. GLO = Global, PHIL = Philex, LAB = Labgear (Philex), TEL = Televes, TR = Triax. See suitable dish and LNB to use with a multiswitch. The 5x16 versions include an aerial input but, if you connect the aerial, you'll need "Triplex" wall plates to separate the signals in each room. With a Quattro LNB you can find the satellite (with a satfinder meter) using the H Low feed (normally coded green on the Multiswitch). See: How to install a multiswitch |

| Note: Items on this page have 'F' connectors and are supplied without connecting leads unless otherwise stated. Please order cables separately from page 7 or 8. All LNB switches lose at least 4dB of signal (around 60%). This will have zero effect on picture or sound PROVIDED that your signal level remains above the threshold of the receiver. As you won't know what your real signal level is (in dB), the only recourse is to try it and, if you experience picture and/or sound break-up in bad weather, fit a larger dish to compensate. |
More info | Sadoun S-SM21V 0-12 volt L.N.B. switch (Replaces CS012). This switch has two LNB inputs and one receiver output. Lets you choose between two LNBs by using a switch or 12 volt feed. Minimum loss 3dB. Not suitable for fringe area reception. The switch has losses (minimum 3dB) so if you can't stand losing that much, don't use it. A larger dish may compensate. LNB switches should be considered only when there is no possibility of installing additional cables. | |

| Jaeger Smart Priority LNB Switch Allows you to use either one of two satellite TV receivers with only on LNB (dish) connection. Example: Connect a Freesat box as master and a Sky Digibox as slave. (The Sky box leaves the LNB powered all the time, so can't be connected as master.) When the Freesat box is in standby, the Sky box takes over. Can also be used with an analogue or Digital FTA satellite TV receiver. | Sorry, no longer available. |
