I used a Pace 56 Voice modem with my Apple Mac grey G3/233. With appropriate software (Mac CallerID 1.1.9) the Mac is able to record, display and audibly announce the number (or preprogrammed name) of the caller under MacOS8 to OS9.1. If any Mac User is interested, I have a CD with all the Pace modem drivers and Mac CallerID 1.1.9 (shareware).
