| Some older Panasonic Sky Digiboxes eventually exhibit the following symptoms when used with certain LNBs: "No Satellite Signal .." message when ITV or BBC (and other Astra 2D programmes) are selected. This is usually intermittent and can be cured by flicking up and down the channels and always by momentarily disconnecting the LNB cable at the tuner "F" connector* behind the Digibox. This kit is for the TU-DSB20, 30, 31, 35 and 40. It will definitely NOT fit non-Panasonic receivers. * Do this test! The SatCure Panafix2D Filter (was ASTRA2D FILTER) will cure these symptoms and is easy to fit with just 3 wires to solder. If these are not your symptoms then it won't work. See catalogue page 12. Models affected: TU-DSB20, 30, 31, 35 and 40. The new version is slightly smaller and has an LED on extended wires. This means that you can fit the LED to the front panel if you wish - either by drilling a hole or by replacing the "message" LED - so you can see the filter doing its job. Fitting instructions: a download link for fitting instructions (PDF) will be supplied automatically by email from the Shopping Cart when you pay by credit card. You may also cure the symptoms by changing the LNB. However, it's usually easier to solder three wires inside the Digibox than to spend time up a ladder trying to fit and align an LNB. |
