Sony Digiboxes S750U and S760U Many Sony S750U boxes have a problem with 12.285 V, which is where Game Network, P Rock & Performance are broadcast from. The cause is not known but it has been suggested that a larger dish might cure the fault. Power supply problems also occur. These are usually cheap to repair IF you know which part has failed and IF you have the desoldering equipment required! Although the Sony Digiboxes have a digital audio output, this provides only stereo and Dolby Prologic. It does NOT provide Dolby Digital 5.1 and probably never will. Hi Martin, I have just collected my Digibox from my (not so) local depot as they didn't get around to delivering it yesterday. Driver ran out of time ?? Oh well. Martin, you are a star! I have tested it and it works a treat. I have a working unit back in place in under a week. BskyB quoted a two week wait just to get an engineer out when I originally enquired after the first sign of trouble. On top of that I would have been faced with a bill of around twice the amount you have charged. You even went to the trouble to adjust the RF output to the channel I had set before the repair.
