Triax A18QR aerial assembly

First join the two square-section aerial rods together using the joining clamp with two bolts and wing nuts.

Fit the connection box at the end shown by aligning the plastic peg in its moulded channel with the hole in the aerial rod. Press the moulded box firmly over the square-section rod and increase pressure until it snaps into place.

Now take the two angled mouldings with three bolts and wing nuts. Use these to clamp together the two reflector grids and secure them to the end of the aerial behind the connection box.

Fit the "U" shaped support tube to the underside of the aerial, ensuring that it is positioned as indicated (left arrow).

Fit the mast clamp assembly to the support tube using the small metal bridge and fixing it to the circular cup section with two screws provided.

Before tightening, hang the aerial with your finger beneath the cup section and ensure that it's positioned at the point of balance.
