| GROUND CONNECTION: negative CONNECTIONS Connect GND to the chassis (ground) of your receiver. Connect 0/12V to your receiver 12V switching output or to your switched voltage source. Connect RX to your receiver LNB input. Connect LNBF-A and LNBF-B to your two LNBs. LNBF-A is normally selected. When you apply the DC voltage, LNBF-B will be selected. You can use the coaxial cable shield as the ground connection and install a (thin, insulated) wire for the 6-12v supply. Install the Sadoun switch anywhere convenient and run the supply wire to your equipment (if it has a 6 to 12v switched output) or to a toggle switch within easy reach. (By "toggle" I'm referring to any form of on/off switch.) |
