| The capacitor should be connected across the thermostatic switch contacts. The appearance and location varies from boiler to boiler. The picture shows a typical installation. The capacitor is indicated by the red arrow at top right. Please bear in mind that, if the thermostat was OK previously, then it has probably developed a fault and should be replaced. But if you've always had this problem, the capacitor should reduce or eliminate the interference. You should also ensure that all coaxial cables are double-shielded. Old "aerial coax" is a recipe for a bad viewing experience. Go to ORDER PAGE WARNING! Mains electricity kills. Don't mess with live equipment. Always ensure that the power is OFF at the main fuse panel. Better still, get an electrician to do the job.
