The SatCure Code Book lists almost all of the known TV Sky codes for use with Sky remote control handsets - over 1500 models. However, it is important to understand that, if you have the latest model TV, you probably need the latest revision Sky remote control. Conversely, if your TV is very old, you may need an earlier revision (obsolete) remote! (An old remote won't contain the control information for a more recent TV set, unless that TV happens to use a standard set of codes for an earlier model - in which case you must use the number code for the earlier model.) To determine the revision number, look at the label inside the battery compartment before you click on a link, below. Before entering a code, it's a good idea to reset your remote, as follows. This will discharge the internal capacitor and wipe the memory: Remove one battery cell (no need to remove both) Press and hold the [select] button or any number button for 30 seconds Replace battery cell The infra-red LED at the front of the remote is invisible but you can observe it flashing if you view it through the LCD panel of a digital camera (or phone camera).
