| Connect + probe (red) of multimeter to this copper wire. Connect - probe (black) of multimeter to the threaded portion or to the outer part of the adjacent aerial socket. The meter should indicate approximately 13 volts (V) and 18 volts (H) when a vertically- or horizontally-polarised channel is selected, respectively. Please note that voltages may read slightly high because this is a "no load" test. You can use a 75 Ohm 5 Watt resistor as a load (or connect an LNB).
