SCART-4/4 allows you to connect up to four video displays to a single source. It is ideal for small distribution systems, such as homes, pubs, clubs, display stands, shop windows.... SCART-4/4 isn't fussy about its input signal, it can deal with Composite (CVBS), RGB, S-Video. It is fitted with buffer amplifiers on all lines to ensure crystal clear pictures to all displays with no loss of signal strength. SCART-4/4 is equipped with additional audio outputs, to connect the audio to a separate PA system if needed. SCART-4/4 has a microphone input, which can allow the displays' speakers to be used as an automatic micro PA system. It has two modes; 'Mix', which adds the microphone input to the audio, ideal for comentating or sing-along (karaoke); and 'Mute', which automatically blanks the playout audio when you key the microphone. SCART-4/4 has a set of LEDs to monitor the status of the incoming signal. It shows power, signal status, RGB mode, and Widescreen mode. SCART-4/4 has the intelligence to shut down to power-save mode when no signal is present, it will switch on automatically as soon as it receives a signal at its input. SCART-4/4 has a special video sensing facility, that enables a video source not equipped with automatic SCART control, such as a digital camera, camcorder, games console or any other equipment not fitted with SCART connectors, to play out to all the displays automatically. The SCART-4/4 detects the incoming video signal and generates the necessary control signal to all the outputs. The unique features of SCART-4/4 are subject of UK and European patent applications. Size: 185 x 75 x 30mm Microphone input: 3.5mm jack socket. External UK plug-top 12 volt power supply included. |
