Note: We were supplying the "Raven" dish but, since Raven moved their manufacturing to the USA, supplies have become intermittent (dwindling to zero). So we are supplying the TRIAX version at the time of writing. This situation may change without notification. Please DO inspect the dish assembly on delivery. If there is a problem please REJECT the whole delivery so you don't have to pay for return postage. Cosmetic faults, such as scratched paint, are deemed acceptable because we advise you to paint all parts (except the LNB cap that faces the dish) to protect them from the effects of sun and rain. Matt paint is recommended.
Dents and distortion to the face of the dish (no matter how slight) are not acceptable and you should reject any delivery where there is such damage. Slight rim damage is usually permissible if it does not affect the dish face.

Corrections! (From Bruce Anderson).
1. Bolts securing elevation bracket to reflector back bracket have square shoulders to fit pressed-out squares in reflector back bracket, so nuts should be on the OUTSIDE.
2. The bracket with the scale is shown mounted UPSIDE-DOWN, so a high angle means the dish is pointing into the ground!

| The bracket will accommodate a 38 mm (1.5") diameter pole or mount but you'll have to order longer U bolts. (Oops! The bracket with the scale is shown incorrectly mounted UPSIDE-DOWN.) |

| There's a faint and approximate elevation scale on the bracket but, cleverly, Triax have made the datum point invisible! The red arrow shows where it ought to be. To find out where to point your dish, and the elevation angle, click HERE. Finalise the rough alignment with a meter as shown HERE. |

| The early MTI QUAD S81901070 LNB kit. (The LNB supplied may be different.) Use the shorter adapter with the plastic pin. In theory, the LNB is at the correct focal position when the pin fits through the hole in the arm. In practice there's a large variation between LNBs so you can often pull the LNB back or push it forward and achieve a slightly higher signal level. |

| The later MTI QUAD S906009976 and its OCTO equivalent are supplied without adapters. The 28 x 18.5 mm spigot fits directly into the dish arm. The small plastic "pin" is normally attached to the adapter moulding but sometimes falls off and gets lost. If you can't find it, please use a suitable substitute, such as a screw. |

| NOTE: As stocks of early LNBs dwindle, we will supply a MK4 LNB (sometimes has a spirit level) and a separate adapter. Please use this adapter instead of the one fitted to the LNB. |

| The small plastic "pip" on this adapter must be removed. (The zone-1 dish arm has a slot for this but the zone-2 hasn't.) The dish arm aperture measures 28 x 18.5 mm for a MK3 LNB (or MK2 with suitable adapter). |

| Viewed from the front, the LNB hangs vertically downwards. For most of the UK, it needs to be rotated clockwise by about 20 degrees (position 3). | Raven RAV-BJ44 LNB. Note that most LNBs have a pull-down cover. Provided that you use plenty of silicone grease in and around the 'F' plugs, no other weatherproofing should be required. |
