| Triax 304114 outlet plate has: A Telephone socket. A "Return Out" socket, which is simply a straight-through connection from the front IEC female socket to the rear cable entry A "Sat ll in" which is a straight through connection from the rear cable entry to the front "F" connector. A "Sat 1 / TV / Radio in" rear cable entry which feeds a combined signal (eg. from a Loft Box) to a triplex decombiner that separates the signals to sockets on the front for LNB ("F"), TV (IEC male) and Radio (IEC female). See cable stripping details on the label. The centre core wire must be 8mm long and is simply pushed into the spring contacts. Cut this wire at a 45 degree angle to form a point. This will make insertion easier. The clamp is then tightened just enough to nip the copper braid without crushing the white plastic dielectric. Ensure that no copper braid wire can touch the centre core wire. If there is any chance of dampness, coat the copper wires with silicone grease before insertion. | ||
