Triax 304114 outlet plate has: A Telephone socket. A "Return Out" socket, which is simply a straight-through connection from the front IEC female socket to the rear cable entry A "Sat ll in" which is a straight through connection from the rear cable entry to the front "F" connector. A "Sat 1 / TV / Radio in" rear cable entry which feeds a combined signal (e.g.. from a Loft Box) to a triplex decombiner that separates the signals to sockets on the front for LNB ("F"), TV (IEC male) and Radio (IEC female). The diagram shows how the Telephone, Return and SAT2 connections are completely independent. They are simply straight-through connections and can be used either as inputs or outputs. In other words, they are bidirectional, so the arrow direction is arbitrary. The combined input accepts SAT1 (LNB frequency band), TV (UHF frequency band) and RADIO (FM to VHF frequency band "V") in one cable and a filter separates these signals out to three sockets. Of course you don't have to feed all three signals in if you don't need them. Note that this plate can be partially replaced by your choice of individual modular sockets, if required.
